DURACELL

Duracell is based in Bethel, Connecticut, USA and is one of the world’s largest producers of batteries. Originally the result of a partnership between inventor Samuel Ruben and businessman Phillip Mallory in 1924, it has since had a long history of acquisition.

Duracell was purchased by Gillette in 1996, which was then purchased by Proctor and Gamble in 2014, was then purchased by Berkshire Hathway, which is owned by legendary investor Warren Buffet, in 2016. As well as a large range of batteries, Duracell also manufactures power packs, lighting, and a range of accessories.
