Safeguard

Safeguard is a brand of anti-bacterial soap and household toiletries manufactured by Proctor and Gamble. Launched by the company in 1963, the brand started out as a soap and deodorant that was released in response to increasing consumer concern over cleanliness and hygiene.

Proving successful, the range was extended to include body wash, face wash, handwash and sanitizer, and specific products that are suitable for those who are more active, suffer from acne, or have sensitive skin. Proctor and Gamble are based in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.
