ACER

Acer is a Taiwanese manufacturer of computer hardware and electronics based in New Taipei City. It was founded in 1976 by Stan Shih, Carolyn Yeh, and George Huang and was originally known as Multitech before changing its name to Acer in 1987.

Originally producing electronic parts and computer components, its products now include PCS, servers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, monitors and displays, virtual reality headsets, and other accessories. Acer’s acquisitions throughout its history include Texas Instruments, Packard Bell, and Gateway computers.
