Skullcandy is a headphones and audio accessories company based in Park City, Utah, USA. The company was founded in 2003 by Rick Alden, who saw an opportunity in developing audio equipment to those who enjoy outdoor sports such as skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, rollerblading, and rock climbing. Skullcandy’s products include headphones, earphones, wireless devices, mp3 players and other audio peripherals.

The company was set to be acquired by phone case manufacturer Incipo but the deal fell through and they were instead bought by Mill Road Capital in 2016.
